About Dr. Rogério
A cataract happens when the eye's natural lens—located right behind the iris—loses its clarity due to age or other factors.
Family, friendship, nature, and sports: These are the pillars of my life where I find balance and renew the focus I bring to my medical calling.
I have been dedicated to eye surgery since 1997 and have been caring for patients in the Algarve since 2001 (OM 40863). Throughout my career, I have closely followed every advancement in cataract surgery to ensure the best for my patients.
I am specialized in a technique to gently emulsify the cataract and replace it with a new, clear intraocular lens.
